Amar Patente Terms of Use

1. Before you start

These are the Terms of Use for the Amar Patente app. They take effect on 13 August 2026 and apply to app version 1.3.0.

By downloading, opening or using Amar Patente, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

Amar Patente is free. There is nothing to buy inside the app. The books and the live course described in section 11 are sold separately and are not part of the free app.

Our Privacy Policy, at amarpatente.com/privacy-policy, explains what data the app handles, which Google advertising and AI services it reaches, and how to exercise your rights. Please read it together with these terms.

These terms are written in English. If we publish translations, they are there to help you understand; the English version is the one that applies.

2. Who runs Amar Patente, and how to reach us

• Amar Patente is published and operated by GMF IT CENTER ("we", "us").
• Email: [email protected] — the same address as the Email button under Legal and Help in the app's Home menu.
• Website: amarpatente.com
• In the app: the WhatsApp and email links in the Home sidebar.
• The app is also distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Support for the app comes from us, not from Apple or Google.

3. What Amar Patente is, and what it is not

Amar Patente is a study app for the Italian driving theory exam. It gives you practice questions, chapter study, exam simulations, mistake review, statistics, word meanings, ebooks and an AI study helper.

• We do not guarantee that you will pass. Using the app, finishing every chapter, or scoring well in the simulations does not mean you will pass the real exam.
• The study content is drawn from the publicly available Italian driving theory question set for the A and B categories (patente AB), which is the set the patente B theory exam is taken from. We work to keep it correct, but it can contain mistakes, and rules and official question wording change over time.
• If anything in the app differs from the official texts, rules or procedures, the official ones are correct and the app is not. Always check the final legal steps with the official authorities or a driving school.
• The app is a study aid. It is not legal advice and not driving instruction. Practical driving must be learned with a qualified instructor.

If you find a mistake in the content, please tell us. It helps everyone.

4. Who can use the app

• You may use Amar Patente for your own personal study.
• The app is not made for children. It is for people preparing for the Italian driving theory exam, and its ad settings are set to a general audience rather than a child audience.
• To create an account you should be at least 14 years old. That is the age at which Italian law lets a person agree on their own to an online service of this kind. Elsewhere in the EU and the EEA the age is set nationally, between 13 and 16, and your own country's threshold applies. If you are younger, a parent or guardian should create and manage the account for you.
• We do not check your age. We rely on what you tell us. If we learn that an account belongs to someone too young, we can close it.
• You need an internet connection for parts of the app, such as saving progress, the AI Teacher, ads and ebooks.
• Your device, your data plan and your app store are your own responsibility.

5. Your account

An account is optional. You can use the whole app without one. You manage an account on the Profile screen — tap the profile icon at the top right of the Home screen.

• You give an email address and choose a password. Keep the password to yourself. Actions that need your password — signing in, changing your email or password, and deleting your account — are treated as done by you. Study records are filed under an id rather than protected by your password, so quiz history on its own is not treated as proof that you did something.
• We do not verify your email address today. No confirmation email is sent, so nobody should treat an account email as proof of identity.
• Staying signed in: a sign-in lasts up to one year on that device unless you sign out. Changing your password signs out every other device and keeps the one you are using.
• You can change your email address and your password on the Profile screen. Both ask for your current password.
• You can delete your account on the Profile screen, under Delete account. It asks for your password, then removes your account, and the answer history and statistics recorded while you were signed in, from our server straight away. It cannot be undone.
• Quiz history recorded on that device while you were signed out is not part of the account and is not deleted with it. See section 6.
• One person, one account. Do not share an account, sell it, or sign in to someone else's account.
• We can suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, is used to abuse the service or other users, or is used to attack our systems. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you first. If the breach is serious, we may act immediately.
• We can also end or change the account feature itself, with reasonable notice where possible.

6. Guest use, and moving your progress into an account

You can study as a guest. Your answers are still saved on our server, under a random id created on your device, so that your statistics and mistake review work. They are simply not tied to your name or your email address.

• The first time you sign up or sign in on a device, the progress made on that device as a guest is moved into your account automatically.
• This move happens once per device. If you later sign out and study again as a guest on the same device, that later progress stays under the guest id and is not added to your account. Sign in before you study if you want the session saved to the account.
• The move can also fail quietly, for example if the connection drops. If your progress does not appear, contact us before deleting anything.
• There is no button to delete guest progress from inside the app, because guest data is not tied to any account. There are two ways to have it removed. The simple one: create an account on that same device, so the guest progress moves into the account, then delete the account, which erases it. Otherwise write to us and we will tell you how to read the guest id off your device, so we can delete the matching records — within 30 days at the latest.

We do our best to keep your progress safe, but please treat it as study help, not as a record you cannot afford to lose.

7. How you may use the app

You may use Amar Patente for your own study, on your own devices. Please do not do any of the following.

• Do not copy, download in bulk, scrape, crawl, or extract the question bank, answers, explanations, hints, word meanings, images or ebooks, by automated or manual means.
• Do not republish, resell, licence, rent, share or distribute our content, in any format, on any website, app, channel, group or printed copy, whether or not you charge for it.
• Do not use our content to build, train or fill another app, dataset, course or AI model.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, modify or try to bypass any part of the app, its protections or its limits.
• Do not call our API in ways the app does not, hammer it with automated requests, or try to reach data, accounts, statistics or systems that are not yours.
• Do not try to tamper with ads, rewards, unlocks or the AI Teacher limits, or fake reward events.
• Do not upload or type unlawful, abusive or harmful content, and do not use the app to harass anyone.
• Do not use the app in a way that breaks Italian or EU law, or the rules of Apple or Google.

We may block, limit or remove access if any of this happens, and we may take legal action for serious breaches.

8. Ads

The app is free because it shows ads. Ads are served by Google: AdMob in the mobile app, and AdSense on the web version. In the mobile app you may see a banner at the bottom of the screen and, when you choose it, a rewarded video.

• In the mobile app, where a consent request applies, Google's consent form is shown before AdMob requests any ad. If you refuse consent, AdMob requests no ads at all — not a video, and not a non-personalised replacement. That consent form covers AdMob only; it does not cover the AdSense script or the fonts described above.
• If we cannot reach Google's consent service, for example when you are offline, the app reuses the last consent answer stored on your device — including one that allowed personalised ads. If there is no stored answer to reuse, only non-personalised ads are requested.
• Ads use your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) together with your IP address and device information, so that Google can serve, cap and measure them. On iPhone and iPad, iOS asks your permission to track before that identifier can be used, and you can change that answer in iOS Settings. You can reset or limit the identifier in your device settings.
• Where Google offers it for your region, an "Ad Privacy Settings" entry appears in the Home sidebar, and you can reopen the consent form there. The web version has no such control.
• We do not control which ads are shown, and an ad appearing in the app is not an endorsement by us. Anything you buy from an advertiser is between you and them.
• Do not click your own ads repeatedly, use ad blockers to fake reward events, or otherwise manipulate ads.
• We can change, add, reduce or remove ads and rewarded features at any time.

9. Ebooks and rewarded unlocks

Some ebooks inside the app are unlocked by watching a rewarded ad, and extra AI Teacher questions are earned the same way. These are free study materials, not a purchase.

• An ebook unlock lasts about 7 days, then you can unlock it again.
• If you have an account, unlocks follow your account to your other devices. As a guest they stay on that device.
• An unlock gives you personal reading access only. You may not copy, share, re-upload or sell the file.
• We can add, change or remove ebooks, and change how unlocks work, at any time. An unlock does not create a permanent right to any file.

These in-app ebooks are not the paid books described in section 11.

10. AI Teacher

AI Teacher lets you type a study question and get an explanation.

• The answer is generated with the help of Google's Gemini API. Your question text, the language you have chosen for the app, and study material from our own database are sent to Google so the answer can be written.
• We do not store your question text in our database. Once the question has been sent, Google's own terms and retention apply to it, and we cannot delete it from Google for you.
• Your device keeps a copy of recent questions and answers for about 7 days, so the same question is not asked twice. That copy is not removed when you delete your account. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app clears it.
• Generated answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are study help, nothing more. They are not legal advice, not official exam guidance and not a substitute for the official texts, a driving school or a qualified professional.
• There is a daily limit on the number of questions, and you can earn extra questions by watching a rewarded ad. The limits are set by us and can change. When the AI service is unavailable, the app may fall back to a short answer built from our own study material, or to none at all.
• Do not use AI Teacher to generate unlawful or abusive content, and do not use it to bulk-extract our content or the model's output.
• We can change, limit or withdraw AI Teacher at any time. It is a free extra, and we do not promise it will always be available.

11. Books, the live course and links to other sites

Some things around Amar Patente are sold separately. They are not part of the free app and these terms do not cover them.

• The printed and Kindle books in the Amar Patente series are sold through Amazon. Your purchase is a contract with Amazon, under Amazon's terms, prices, delivery and return rules.
• The live theory course, announced on amarpatente.com and booked through WhatsApp or phone, is a separate paid service with its own terms, schedule, price and payment arrangement, agreed directly with us before you join.
• Buying a book or joining the course does not change anything inside the free app, and using the free app does not give you access to a book or to the course.
• Any consumer rights you have for a book or the course, including any right of withdrawal for a distance purchase, come from that separate contract and from consumer law. Nothing in these terms takes them away.
• The app and the website link to other places, such as Amazon, WhatsApp, the app stores and projects like Italia360, Shikhun Italian, BustaFacile and ronaldoroy.com. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products or their handling of your data. Their terms apply once you leave us.

12. Who owns what

• Amar Patente, its name, logo, design, screens, text, images, question set, explanations, hints, word meanings, ebooks and software belong to GMF IT CENTER or to the people who licensed them to us. All rights are reserved.
• The underlying Italian driving theory rules are public, and we do not claim to own them. What we own is our selection, wording, translation, structure, images and presentation of that material.
• We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own study, for as long as these terms are respected. That licence gives you no other rights.
• If you send us feedback, a correction or a bug report, we may use it to improve the app without owing you anything for it. Please do not send confidential material.
• We respect other people's rights. If you believe something in the app infringes yours, write to [email protected] with the details and we will look into it.

13. App store rules

• When you install from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms apply on top of these.
• These terms are between you and GMF IT CENTER only, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its content or its support. Support comes from us, at the contacts in section 2.
• If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for it — the app is free, so that amount is zero. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for any claim that the app or your use of it does not comply with a legal or regulatory requirement, causes loss or damage, or breaches consumer protection or similar law.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling any claim by a third party that the app infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
• Apple and its subsidiaries may rely on these terms as third-party beneficiaries in respect of the iOS app.
• You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a relevant embargo, and are not on a prohibited-parties list, where such rules apply to your download.

14. The app is provided as it is, and where our responsibility ends

What we do not promise

Amar Patente is a free app and is provided as it is and as available.

• We do not promise that the app will always be available, error free, uninterrupted, secure or compatible with every device, or that content is complete, accurate and current at all times.
• We do not promise that offline caching, progress saving, ads, ebooks or AI Teacher will always work.
• We may change, pause or stop features, content or the whole app, and we may stop supporting older app versions. Where a change matters to you and we can give notice in advance, we will.

Our responsibility, and its limits

• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault, for fraud, for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence (article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code), or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Italian or EU law.
• Beyond those limits, and only so far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost profit, lost time, exam fees, retake costs or lost progress data arising from your use of the free app.
• In particular, we are not liable for failing the exam, for a decision you made based on app content or an AI Teacher answer, or for anything an advertiser or a linked third party does.
• Because the app is supplied free of charge, our liability for it is limited to what is fair and foreseeable in that context. Books and the live course are separate paid contracts with their own liability and consumer rules.
• We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, such as network, hosting, app store or third-party service failures.

15. Ending your use, law, disputes and changes

Ending your use

• You can stop at any time: uninstall the app, and, if you have an account, delete it on the Profile screen first. Uninstalling clears what is on your device, but study history already saved on our server under a guest id stays there — see section 6 if you want that removed too.
• We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if you attack or abuse the service, or if we must do so by law.
• We can also discontinue the app or a feature. If we discontinue accounts, we will give reasonable notice where we can, so you can note down what matters to you.
• Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, liability limits and governing law, continue to apply after your use ends.

Law and disputes

• These terms are governed by Italian law.
• If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live. We will bring any proceedings against a consumer there too.
• If you are not a consumer, the courts of Italy have jurisdiction.
• Please contact us first at [email protected]. Most problems are solved faster that way. You also keep any right to use consumer dispute-resolution schemes available to you, and to complain to the competent authorities.
• If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app changes or the law requires it. The current version is always the one published at amarpatente.com/terms, with the date it took effect at the top. If a change is important, we will point it out in the app or on the website. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using the app and, if you wish, delete your account.
